Compassion & Grief Nature Walk
cultivate compassion to care for grief

Picture
Activity consists of a sitting meditation followed by a
mindful nature walk
  (~75 minutes)

Participants learn about compassion and awareness as a tool for grief. We begin with a discussion and sitting meditation followed by a mindful walk where we expand awareness and open space for loss and grief. Together we are held by nature while we hold compassionate space for the fabric of grief that must soften, embody, and move through for healing. We are meant to heal together ... nature can bring us together and remind us of our common humanity and interconnectedness.

ACTIVITY: Sitting meditation followed by a collective Compassion and Grief walk (i.e., Portaling Awareness activity)

OTHER GROWLOVE OFFERINGS

Loss & Grief Care: Individual Care

Picture
Individual sessions offer time to be with, listen to, and explore loss & grief as I hold a space of compassion for grief. My grief care approach is informed by the neuroscience of compassion, neurobiology, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and the compassion tenants in my book, Joy at the Edges of Grief. Learning to be Present in the Midst of Caregiving, Illness, and Loss. The approach teaches compassion, presence, and awareness are resources for healing and resilience.

I offer retreats and individual care for:
- those caregiving for a loved one, and
- those seeking guidance for loss, change and/or grief and want compassion-focused tools.

I also offer reiki sessions upon request.
