PORTAL was constructed by land artist David Allen, Stone Point Studio, and stands on Wells Reserve at Laudholm, Wells, ME.
The Wells Reserve at Laudholm is a National Estuarine Research Reserve with its headquarters listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
While on walks, Elizabeth repeatedly noticed and appreciated Portal's tender and fierce energy. She found herself open and curious around Portal and soon felt called to use it as a vector for awareness and compassion programming. She is partnering with Wells Reserve at Laudholm and David Allen, Stone Point Studio, to offer awareness, compassion, and grief programs.
With the help of donations, Laudholm Trust intends to purchase PORTAL so it is a permanent installation on the campus. You can help make that happen. Your donation will ensure PORTAL remains in the Wells Reserve field—and acts as a centerpiece for continued GROWLOVE PORTALING AWARENESS activities. Help give PORTAL a permanent home where Elizabeth can bring more GROWLOVE: Compassion, Awareness, and Nature offerings!
